Standard

This is a picture of the sample batik I made for tomorrows class at the Meg-School. The fabric is scrap muslin, the purple-blue color is crushed seeds of a tree tomato mixed with vinegar. The green is kasava leaf (a local weed) mashed with salt, and the yellow is turmeric mixed with vinegar. I think it went very well and I am excited for tomorrows class.

About globalmargaret

I am a Mid-Western college graduate who signed a contract on a whim last April. The contract took me to Nome, Alaska where I presently live and work. I love nature, hiking, good food, music, ukulele, knitting, sewing, anything creative, and just being still
